Narenj O Toranj Design

Design shaped by Persian stories

About Me

I’m Moni, a designer weaving my love of Persian art, history, and literature into contemporary digital design. I reinterpret cultural symbols, motifs, calligraphy, manuscript painting, and traditional Iranian patterns in a modern visual language. The name Narenj o Toranj comes from an ancient Persian folktale, where something precious is hidden within two citrus fruits—a bitter narenj and a sweet toranj. Together, they reflect the dual nature of life: light and shadow, joy and sorrow, what is seen and what remains hidden.Narenj o Toranj is my way of exploring these layers through design—where tradition meets a modern, personal expression.
